Adult dogs available–YES, we have some

Spirit Hill Springers has recently made the hard decision to release some of their best females. 

We are looking for those special individuals that will welcome one of these lovely ladies into their homes and provide them with tons of love and support for the rest of their lives. 

All of these dogs come with a full 1-year Health Guarantee and are UTD on vaccinations and heartworm treatments.

We also offer a 7-day grace period for new owners with older dog adoptions.  We feel this is important so that both dog and new owners can see if the adoption is good for both of them. Puppies are new, but older dogs may come with quirks or problems that Spirit Hill Springers won’t know about until they get into their new homes.  

NOTE:  All adult dogs have had some training and know the basics; leash etiquette, heel, sit, back, wait, etc.  In addition, unless noted, they have been inside my house and were housetrained, but after that, have spent most of their lives outside.  They may need to be “reminded” or retaught.  The older dogs are respectful, and I have had no problems in the home, however younger ones (<2 years of age) will need to be trained further.  All are easy to train, attentive and willing to learn.  Females must get spayed within 6 months of ownership. Absolutely, no breeding allowed.

It hurts when you spend time keeping the best of a litter only to find that they can’t seem to get bred.  In my program, that’s obviously a problem.  So, after many attempts, I have to let them go.  Both are drop dead gorgeous and have wonderful dispositions but will need further obedience training.  Since they never had pups, they haven’t been in the house and will need some patience on house training.  I guarantee it won’t take long for them to figure it out, because unlike 8-week old puppies, they will adapt much quicker as they are smart, willing to please, and have better control.  They are young, healthy, happy, beautiful, full of freckles, and with a little training, will easily become your new best friend.     $1100/each.
