Adult dogs available

Spirit Hill Springers occasionally has older dogs available for adoption.

All adult dogs are covered under our 1-year health guarantee (after vet inspection by new owner). 

We also offer a 7-day grace period for new owners with older dog adoptions.  We feel this is important so that both dog and new owners can see if the adoption is good for both of them. Puppies are new, but older dogs may come with quirks or problems that Spirit Hill Springers won’t know about until they get into their new homes.  

NOTE:  All adult dogs have had some training and know the basics; leash etiquette, heel, sit, back, wait, etc.  In addition, they have been inside my house and were housetrained, but after that, have spent most of their lives outside.  They may need to be “reminded” or retaught.  The older dogs are respectful, and I have had no problems in the home, however younger ones (<2 years of age) will need to be trained further.  All are easy to train, attentive and willing to learn.
